Michael Cole, Licensed Massage Therapist

Michael Cole

Licensed Massage Therapist

Michael graduated from the Institute of Bodywork Studies and has helped many clients since becoming licensed in 2004. He has advanced training in many areas of massage but his primary focus has been in the field of medical massage. Medical massage combines hot stones, swedish, trigger point, myofascial release, deep tissue and sports massage techniques in an effort to relieve the aches and pains associated with living in a stress filled world. As no two people have the exact same problems, each massage is tailored to the specific needs of the client.

Michael’s skills continue to grow through continuing education and private studies that focus on a full body approach that provides relief from immediate pain as well as long lasting results.

When asked about the future of massage Michael replied, “With the rising cost of healthcare in our country I think people are looking for alternative ways to keep themselves healthy. Right now if you have aches and pains you have two commonly perceived choices: medications from physicians or manipulation from chiropractors. I believe medical massage will be a strong third option.”

Michael always puts the needs of his clients at the forefront of any massage service and strongly believes in educating and informing his clients.

Michael can additionally be reached at 214.403.7930 or he can be found on FaceBook at Michael’s World of Massage

Leslie Smith

Operations Director, Licensed Massage Instructor & Licensed Massage Therapist

Leslie’s interest and love of massage began in 1999 when she and her business partner opened a day spa in Southlake, Texas.  After hearing from her clients, the amazing benefits of massage she decided to start receiving massage services to cope with her chronic pain from Fibromyalgia.  It was the healing and restorative effect massage had on her pain management which lead her to pursue massage training, so she may perfect her own natural massage ability.  Through her massage education and practice Leslie became in tune to body awareness and recognized that massage therapy is a necessary part of injury prevention and recovery.

Leslie attended the Institute of Bodywork Studies and graduated in 2006.  She is currently a member of the Association of Bodywork & Massage Professionals and is the Operations Director of IBS.  Highlights of her bodywork training include: Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point, Sports and Injury, Cupping, and Stretching/Range of Motion, along with other various modalities.  Leslie can assist in relieving effects of stress, chronic pain, headaches, repetitive motion syndromes, tendonitis, grief and depression, and give a great relaxation massage.  Her education, along with having the opportunity to work at the school has enhanced her training.  Leslie appreciates the importance in nurturing ourselves to sustain a balanced, overall sense of well-being and feels blessed to be a part of the process.  Leslie is extremely passionate about the work she does and tailors each session to her clients’ individual needs.  Your session with Leslie will be dedicated to meeting your goals.
